Renee Metivier has been a professional runner since 2005- the same time as when she graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with Bachelor degrees in Mathematics, Economics, and Business.
Renee debuted in the marathon at the 2012 Chicago Marathon, where she ran 2:27:17 – the fourth fastest American debut and ranks in the top fifteen on the all-time Fastest American Marathoners list.
Renee underwent Achilles surgery in the summer of 2011, and her subsequent comeback has been much of the inspiration behind Recharge. Renee was fortunate to stay in the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs for her rehab after surgery. After the four months there, she questioned why this knowledge, equipment, and cohesive support were not readily available to everyone.
Renee’s mission in opening Recharge is to bring professional level recovery and performance to everyone to help people stay healthy and reach their full potential.
Renee is excited to share her vast knowledge from years of competitive athletics, rehabbing and rebuilding after injuries with you.
